日本語教室・意見交換会　
Japanese Language Class and Discussion Session

全国3か所（名古屋・大阪・関東）で、手話による模擬日本語教室（よみかき）の体験会をします。
ろう者の日本語講師が教えます。参加費は無料です。
体験会のあとは、茶話会をしましょう。

We are holding a trial session for a mock Japanese class (reading and writing) conducted in sign language at three locations nationwide (Nagoya, Osaka, and the Kanto region).
The class will be taught by a Japanese instructor who is Deaf. Participation is free of charge.
After the trial session, let’s have a tea party.

・対面もしくはオンライン（zoom）
・対面の場合、日本語教室の翌日に同じ場所にて
・薄謝あり
ご協力をいただける人はご連絡ください。下記の手話動画もごらんください。
 
We are seeking individuals who are willing to share their experiences of living in Japan in individual interviews.
・In person or online (Zoom)
・The in-person interview will be held at the same location the day after the Japanese language class
・A small honorarium will be provided

"Research Project on Identifying Communication Challenges Faced by Deaf Foreign Residents in Japan and Exploring Approaches to Support Them"
手話言語研究所外国手話研究部は、赤い羽根福祉基金「社会課題テーマ」の「外国にルーツがある人々への支援活動応援助成 第６回」の助成を受け、本プロジェクトを実施します。

The Foreign Sign Language Research Department of the Japan Institute for Sign Language Studies is carrying out this project with a grant from the Red Feather Community Chest’s “Social Issues Theme” under the “6th Round of Grants to Support Activities Aiding People with Foreign Roots.”

事業目的　Project Objectives

全国にいる外国人ろう者を大まかに把握し、当事者間のネットワーク形成を促進するとともに、在日外国人ろう者の意思疎通に起因する課題を発見、分析し、日本語教室の実施などそれらの課題に対する支援の在り方を探る
 
To gain a general understanding of the Deaf foreign residents across Japan and promote the formation of networks among them; to identify and analyze challenges related to communication faced by Deaf foreign residents in Japan; and to explore appropriate forms of support for these challenges, such as the implementation of Japanese language classes.
